SHREDDERS SURF CAMP

Started by Wilmington natives, Mark & Jennifer Hunt. Mark learned to surf at these beaches in Southeast NC. He later had the opportunity to travel the world surfing professionally for over a decade. After a running camps in Japan, the Hunts moved home and started Shredders in 2012. It was an extension of their love for God and the ocean, coupled with their passion to teach others to enjoy both through surfing, that led them to begin Shredders.

In 2019 the Hunts passed Shredders Surf Camp on to Kyle & Christina Sullivan. Kyle has over 35 years of surfing experience on the east coast and spots around the world. Before being an instructor with Shredders the summer of 2018, he taught surfing to many on an individual basis. He has completed the Level 1 Surf Instructor Training with the globally recognized ISA (International Surfing Association). Bringing over 20 years of youth ministry experience and leading teams to locations all around the world, the Sullivan’s bring a love for youth and life together with surfing.
